About this study
✅ Randomized Control Trial
If eligible, you will be asked to take one of two types of Omega-3 supplement daily, share data from your personal wearable device, and complete three blood sample collections using an at-home kit.

Share your sleep, steps and heart rate variability data with researchers by connecting your Garmin, Oura ring, Whoop or Fitbit or Apple Watch.
🎁 Participant Incentive Available
Participants that complete all study tasks over the 18 weeks and successfully return their completed study kits will receive a $150 Amazon Gift Card.
🤳 Virtual Study
Participate from the comfort of your home from your own smartphone or computer on the Alethios platform. All study tasks and instructions are available in a single platform.
What's Involved
This study assesses the effects of two different types of Omega-3 supplements on your Omega-3 levels, inflammation and cardiometabolic health. As a participant, you will:

Verify eligibility and enroll via the Alethios platform.
- Connect your eligible smart device to track wearable metrics.

Provide a shipping address to receive your study kit, containing (a) a 14-week supply of one of the two supplements (the supplement you receive will be random and cannot be pre-selected) and (b) three blood sample collection kits, and later, confirm your receipt of the kit via the online platform.

Participants will then be guided by the Alethios platform on how to complete study tasks, which can be completed on the platform and at-home. Participants who fulfill all study requirements will receive an Amazon gift card and no further follow-up is necessary.
